Terms of Service
Who runs the app
Danou van Rensburg runs Permaculture App. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
Rain Drops are in test mode. No real money moves, and test drops have no cash value. Cash-out does not exist yet.
Rain Drops
- Payments use Stripe's test mode, so a real card is not charged.
- Prices in the app are test prices. 100 drops show as $1.00, and a Water Bucket is 500 drops.
- Every new member starts with 500 welcome drops.
- You can spend drops on tips, courses, shop items and locked rooms.
- If the app moves to real money, these terms will change first, and test drops will not carry over.
Tips and earnings
- When you tip a member, 5% is a fee. The other 95% counts toward their earnings figure.
- Earnings are a figure on a profile. They are not money, and you cannot spend them.
- You cannot withdraw earnings or drops. You cannot turn earnings back into drops yet.
Dan's tips
Dan, the Permaculture Robot, may tip members from a community pot. His tips are a gift. They are not guaranteed, the rules may change, and they may stop at any time.
The pot fills from tips people give Dan, and from the drops left when a member deletes their account. It can run out.
When you delete your account
What is left of your Rain Drops goes to Dan's pot and does not come back. Your purchase and drops records stay, with your name removed. Your sign-in account stays for now. The Privacy Policy lists what goes and what stays.
What you post
You own what you post. When you post, you let the app store it and show it. Posts are public by default: anyone can read them without signing in, and they can appear on Google and other search engines. One tap in the post box makes a post members only. Post only what you have the right to share.
When you remove a post or make it members only, its page goes at once. Search engines may keep showing their own copy for days or weeks.
Advice in the app
Advice from members and from Dan is for learning, and it can be wrong. Dan is a robot, not a person.
Before you dig, build a dam, change how water moves or eat a wild plant, check with a qualified person and your local rules. You decide what you do on your land, and you carry the risk.
Rules
Follow the Community Standards. Do not attack the app's servers or copy its data with automated tools.
The owner and admins can remove what you post and suspend your account if you break these terms. A suspended member can still download their data.
Changes
These terms can change. The date below shows the last change.
