Community Standards
What we care about
- Earth Care
- Protect living soil, clean water and biodiversity in the advice you give.
- People Care
- Help beginners and elders with patience and respect.
- Fair Share
- Credit people's work, and share what you have to spare.
What we ask
- Say your climate zone, soil type and rainfall when you ask for advice or give it.
- Credit your sources, including indigenous knowledge and the people who made a design.
- Different sites need different methods. Question the method, not the person.
- Posts and their comments are public by default, so ask before you share a photo of someone else or their land.
What is not allowed
- Spam, scams, and crypto or investment pitches.
- Telling people to pour motor oil, solvents or other poisons into soil or water.
- Hate speech, threats, or sharing someone's private details.
- Selling someone else's designs or course videos as your own.
What happens when someone breaks them
Any member can report a post, comment or Bush TV message. The owner and admins read reports and decide what to do. They can remove what was posted and suspend the account.
A simple word filter may stop a post, comment or Bush TV message, or send a report to the admins. It can miss things and get things wrong. It does not read private messages.
